There is something special about spending time on a quiet Louisiana farm, surrounded by the simple beauty of the countryside. I painted this little piece during a visit to the Springridge area near Keithville, Louisiana. Working outdoors allowed me to capture the atmosphere and feeling of the moment with spontaneous brushwork and the freshness that only plein air painting can offer.
Small in size but filled with the character of our Southern countryside, this original oil painting would make a wonderful addition to someone's home or a thoughtful gift for anyone who appreciates rural life and original art.
Available for purchase. Please send me a private message if you're interested in giving this little painting a home.
