Where the Moonlight Rests

Painted entirely from memory, Where the Moonlight Rests is my impression of a quiet Southern countryside settled beneath a brilliant moonlit sky. The cool blues of the night, the soft glow of a distant farmhouse, and the moonlight dancing across the still water bring together memories of peaceful evenings in rural Louisiana. Rather than capturing a particular place, I wanted to express the feeling of being there—the solitude, the stillness, and the comforting beauty of a countryside at rest.
