This is going to be interesting . . . I hope.

I have been a graphic designer / illustrator my whole professional life. I feel fortunate to do something that I like. But as far back as I can remember i thought I would be a painter one day. That day never seemed to arrive due to other commitments and deadlines. As my children got grown and began families of their own and the demands of life began to ease up and with the thought of time  running out. I decided at the age of 60 if I am going to paint I better get with it.

I paint almost everyday, sometimes for an hour and sometimes for hours. I committed to awake each morning at 4:50 AM and paint some, if only washing in a background.

The following pieces are a small sample of my journey.
